Hand Drawn Letterpress Invitation
Letterpress printing is perfect for printing type and imagery. So when Heather & Jack asked us to print their hand drawn design for their wedding invitations we knew the results would be wonderful. Letterpress printed black ink on our Heidelberg platens onto 638gsm cotton paper. Designed by Ashley Amery.

White & Grey Duplex Letterpress Wedding Stationery
Contemporary yet very classy this fantastic design by the art director (and the groom) Chris Hannah, looks stunning letterpress printed onto white and dark grey 540gsm Colorplan Duplex.
Careful consideration was given to the type of stock in order to enhance the elegance of this design. The monochromatic palette adds to the elegance of the design and the Order of Service which simply has four of the symbols from the design debossed onto Somerset 300gsm, 100% cotton paper, compliments it beautifully. The invitations were finished with rounded corners.

Whilst going through our archives earlier today we came across this beautifully simple design by the groom. After suggestions for paper we decided on a white/blue duplex board with blue ink mixed to match the board.

Wild Floral Letterpress Wedding Invitations
We enjoyed designing and printing this wild floral wedding invitation. The request was for a vintage looking wild flower illustration with clean and simple typography.
Letterpress printed on our vintage Heidelberg presses onto our favourite paper at the moment, 425gsm Saunders 100% cotton paper and supplied with luxurious Zerkall envelopes. The silver and lilac ink compliment each other beautifully.

Chrysanthemum Letterpress Wedding Invitations
Emily had seen our Chrysanthemum correspondence cards and greeting card and asked us to adapt the design to create her wedding invitation and menu card. We discussed preferred colour palettes and provided a couple of layout and colour variations for Emily’s approval. The invitations and menus are printed on heavy 425gsm 100% cotton paper in lime green and brown and were supplied with matching envelopes.
The chrysanthemum drawing is taken from an original pencil drawing by Blush’s very own Alison and was originally part of a range of greeting cards. We are often asked to adapt one of our greeting card designs into a range of wedding stationery.

Cotton & Gold Letterpress Wedding Stationery
A beautiful combination of a swirling typeface, gold ink, cotton paper and letterpress printing resulted in this wedding stationery. Designed by Julia carefoot of Glorious Creative in Manchester and supplied by email for us to print. Julia looked into papers at the early stages of the project and had chosen a smooth board which we felt was not thick enough to enable us to achieve a deep impression on both sides of the cards. We advised Julia to go with a heavier pure cotton paper, Saunders 425gsm.
Wedding invitation, information card and a thank you card letterpress printed in gold ink on both sides of A6.

Floral Letterpress Wedding Invitations
These floral wedding invitations evoke thoughts of warm summer meadows and look crisp and clean on white card. The flowers are taken from Susie’s original drawings and converted to graphic illustrations by George. Complemented with classic serif and sans serif type. George provided print ready artwork and indicated Pantone colour ref’s. We took care of the separations and pre-press work before sending a final proof for approval.

‘Reynolds’ letterpress wedding stationery
Here’s a sneak peek at one of our new ranges of letterpress wedding stationery ~ Reynolds.
The bride and grooms names are rendered in a beautiful script typeface adorned with swirling glyphs making this a truly personalised piece. Careful and considered typography are the true elements of this design.
Letterpress printed on our vintage printing presses onto a luxurious 300gsm, 100% cotton paper. The soft nature of this paper allows a deep impression creating an irresistible tactile finish. The invitations are accompanied with matching unlined envelopes which have a soft deckled edge on the flaps. Optional extras include envelope lining, return address and a version of the bride and grooms names printed on the envelope flap.

Summer Bunting Wedding Invitation
We recently printed this gorgeous wedding invitation. Letterpress printed onto 638gsm pure cotton board both sides, 3 colours front, 2 colours on the back. A6 postcard with a summer bunting theme designed by our customer.
Shelley took inspiration from vintage pattern and summer themes and got to work in her sketchbooks. Her drawings were scanned into the computer and “tidied up” in Photoshop. Then she added old typewriter and carnival style fonts into the mix and came up with a design full of nostalgia. You can read more on how Shelley created her design on her blog.
Shelley emailed her artwork to us and we got to work. We colour matched the inks to Pantone refs and a print out from her computer as it had the tone of colour she liked. Considering the weight of board used the job ran smoothly. First we printed the fuchsia and grey, front and back and finally the green on the front then trimmed to size. Packed and dispatched before the weekend for Shelley to start sending out.
