The London Distillery Company have collaborated with Fortnum & Mason to create a new limited edition Dodd’s Gin. Botanical inspiration for the gin comes from Fortnum & Mason’s rooftop bees and is carried through to the colour schemes and golden hot foil.
The labels are designed by United Creatives and are a reworking of their label for the original Dodd’s Gin bottles. The labels were letterpress printed in three colours on our Heidelberg platens followed with a metallic hotfoil. They were then kiss cut to allow them to be easily peeled off, hand numbered and applied the bottles. Printing such an intricate design with no trapping takes great care and attention to detail at each stage of the production.
The gin is available to purchase online from Fortnum & Mason but be quick as only 300 bottles have been produced!
White hot foil onto the red side of a Colorplan Bright Red / Pristine White duplex. Red ink matched to the Bright Red letterpress printed on the white side.

Originally produced as a letterpress print exclusively for the Japanese market, this Leonardo Da Vinci quote has now been adapted to a greeting card. To mirror the sentiment of the quote, the design was loosely based on classical title page typography and a book cover designed by Jan Tschichold (1902–1974), and it uses the Goudy Old Style typeface designed by Frederic W. Goudy (1865–1947).
Designed by Jim Williams.

These striking business cards designed by graphic designer Andy Cooke are an excellent example of metallic hot foil and letterpress print techniques. Printing floods of ink or foil can cause us to take a sharp intake of breath but we knew we had to try it for this job. Andy’s design called for a solid flood of metallic foil on one side with extremely fine hot foil and letterpress print on the reverse of the 700gsm Colorplan.
United Creatives brought together Blush and LaserLea to create this unique business card for Disappearing Dining Club.
Disappearing Dining Club bring people together to enjoy great food, drink and good company in private and unusual spaces from department stores and churches to salvage yards and roof tops.
We letterpress printed both sides of the sheet, 4 up on 540gsm Colorplan and sent them off to LaserLea to laser cut to fork shape out from the cards. The sheets were then returned to us for trimming.
The TJM Projects logo called for extremely accurate registration. The overlap created a third colour without the need for a third pass on the press. Overlapping colours is a great way to create extra colours without increasing production costs.
Two colour versions of Colorplan Duplex were used to compliment the brand further.
United Creatives have created a business card for developer Patrick Seed containing… you guessed it, seeds. Using recycled paper and modeled on seed packets the cards are handed out containing a mix of wild flower seeds.
Letterpress printed on a recycled stock, die cut and assembled.
Burgues is a beautiful new range of letterpress wedding stationery. The initials are printed with a tinted deboss deep into beautifully soft cotton paper. The typefaces were carefully chosen for their elegance and vast range of glyphs. We knew they would print with crisp definition and show letterpress impression to full effect.
We can adapt the design and adjust to 1, 2 or 3 colours as well as a offering a choice of other papers and shades.
The range is now available and can be ordered from our website or by email. If you prefer we can take orders over the phone on 01352 716911.
