We love this 2 colour wedding invitation for designer Elliot Jay Stocks and his bride to be Samantha. Printed 2 colours both sides on a hefty 1000mic recycled board and finished with die cut corners. The recycled board is rough and uneven varying the impression across the print area adding texture and random imperfections, making each print different from the next.

Striking business cards for graphic designer Brice Corbin. Letterpress printed onto red over black 540gsm Colorplan Duplex. Black ink on the red side with a tint on the black side.

When Luca was just 3 years old he was struck down with Meningococcal Septicaemia. The disease ravaged his body in hours and left him fighting for his life. Luca lost both of his legs along with muscle and skin below his hips. He has massive skin and tissue and muscle loss across his arms and shoulders and is now fighting to save his knees which have been severely damaged. He is one brave little chap and so when his Dad contacted us for some business cards to help with Luca’s campaign we fired up the presses.
We printed Luca’s cards on our Heidelberg platen, 1 colour both sides on GF Smiths 540gsm Colorplan. The cards were finished with complimenting blue edge painting.
Read more about Luca’s story on his Facebook page, follow Luca on Twitter or donate on his Just Giving page.

When Tommy Nagle first approached us about Film Directors #1 we threatened to “send evil pigeons with bad guts to fly over his house if he didn’t let us print this”. He agreed.
The detail of every single delicate beard hair (and glasses) on Tommy’s original artwork have transferred faithfully under the extreme pressure of the press. Featuring (from top left) Francis Ford Coppola, Tim Burton, John Landis, George Lucas, George A Romero, Steven Spielberg, Spike Lee, Peter Jackson and Hayao Miyazaki.
“I’m always making things and never quite finishing them, so I was happily shocked when Blush agreed to turn my idea into a tangible thing.” Explains Tommy. “I hadn’t really made anything like this before, aside from some etching experiments at art school, but I’d seen Blush’s work on various blogs and knew that if I were to ever make a ‘proper’ print, I’d want it to be letterpress, and I’d want Blush to print it.”
The prints are A3 (297 x 420mm) 300gsm Somerset cotton and are available to buy from Tommy’s shop. Profits go toward the Michael J Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.

Ben Saunders is a polar explorer, motivational speaker and only the third person to ski solo to the North Pole. He also holds the record for the longest solo Arctic journey by a Briton.
We printed Ben’s new business cards on 540gsm Colorplan in black and red ink. A simple clean design with surprisingly tight registration. We took great care ensuring the red way points and route line registered perfectly to the black.

The London Distillery Company have launched Dodd’s gin, crafted at their new distillery in Battersea, London. They worked with United Creatives to create branding and design the bottle labels. The gin is distilled in ‘Christina’, a traditional copper alembic. The gin is then hand-bottled before the labels are numbered and applied to the bottles. So opting for letterpress labels continues the hand crafted theme.
The labels are printed three colours on our Heidelberg platens then ‘kiss-cut’ to shape making them easy to peel off and apply to the bottles.

Being a creative has it’s benefits, when you get married you get to design your own wedding stationery. Designer and illustrator Nathan Miller pulls it off and we think this invitation is just great. A confident mix of typefaces and illustration printed two colours on our Heidelberg platens. The invites are 140 x 210mm and letterpress printed on 425gsm cotton paper.

Fans of Spider-Man will love this cheeky play on the iconic masked hero and the man behind this superhero’s mask is illustrator Olly Moss.
We ran the prints simultaneously on two Heidelberg cylinders, first printing the red plate then then transferring the sheets onto the second press to print the black plate. Registration was surprisingly tight as there was no trapping between the red and black plates. Printing the black over the red helped to create a rich black.
The prints are 11″ x 14″ and printed onto 300gsm 100% cotton paper.
It’s not surprising that the prints are already sold out!

“Nobody sends postcards these days and email can be so boring/passé/bloodless”. Our sentiments exactly and has inspired United Creatives to create this set of postcards for Cubitt House. Letterpress printed on 100% recycled stock on our Heidelberg cylinder presses.

United Creatives came to us to print picture frame mounts and die cut them for The Crossings, a direct access scheme providing temporary accommodation and support to homeless people in Hull.
Letterpress printed on 540gsm Colorplan with matching die cut mounts.

We have collaborated with Ammo Magazine and illustrator Nick Deakin to produce this limited edition letterpress print. Nick’s bold line work makes a wonderful impression into Saunders 425gsm cotton, chosen for it’s weight and texture.
We converted Nick’s digital artwork to colour separations, outputted to film and made our photopolymer plates. The smallest detail in the illustration is transferred faithfully to the plates which are mounted on aluminum bases to type height and locked up in the chase. We printed each plate/colour simultaneously on 2 Heidelberg platens achieving accurate registration. Nick supplied Pantone colour refs and the inks were hand mixed to match.
The A5, 2 colour print is signed by the artist and comes with latest lumberjack themed magazine. The print is limited to 500 so be quick!
